Cadets are taught a wide range of activities such as survival skills, endurance, leadership, discipline, they also offer Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Silver and Gold and many other skills which are taught in the army.
Army Cadets are recognised as the one of the cheapest youth activities available with weekend on camp costing as little as £15.00 for 2 nights with all acomdation , meals, and transport.
Their annual camp cost £60.00 for 12 nights where cadets stay on an army camp (last year was Catterick) that includes trasport accomodation and food which I am informed is very good and all activities.
Cadets is open to both boys and girls equally and there is an amount of discipline but the cadets do still have fun the officers look after their cadets and are excellent mentors also
I hope this can be of interest to your Nowt2Do? Poject. Any one interested can just turn up at 7.00 on either night
